Air Force Research Laboratory Awards ATC $24.9M Contract

April 25, 2008 Ithaca, NY. The Air Force Research Laboratory has awarded ATC a $24.9 Million contract to provide research, development, experimentation and program management activities leading to the transition of information management technology to the Warfighter.

The mission of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Systems and Information Interoperability Branch (RISE) is to provide advanced information management technologies to satisfy current and future Air Force net-centric interoperability requirements. To support their mission, AFRL/RISE awarded a $24.9M, 5-year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase 3 contract to ATC.

The effort, entitled IMPRESS (Information Management Product Engineering Strategies & Solutions), will provide a more efficient R&D technology transition collaborative environment to support the development of common plans, R&D activities, experimentations/demos and management activities leading to technology transition to the Warfighter. ATC leads the IMPRESS team that includes large businesses, small businesses and academia.
